How to Delete Your Account

Open the Global Nadar Matrimony app.

Go to the Profile tab.

Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.

Select Delete Account.

Choose the reason for deleting your account.

Enter your password and tick the confirmation checkbox.

Submit the request. Your account will be deleted and you will be logged out of the app.

What Data Is Deleted

Profile information, photos, personal information, contact information, partner preferences, education and career details, family details, location data, horoscope details and activity data are removed from active member access.

Push notification tokens, device tokens and active app login tokens are removed so the deleted account can no longer receive app notifications or remain signed in.

After a successful deletion request, your matrimony profile and linked user account are deactivated.

Data That May Be Retained

Limited records may be retained only where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, audit, dispute resolution, payment verification, backup management or enforcement of our platform policies.

Retained records are not used to keep your profile active or visible to other members.

Retention Period

Deletion requests are processed immediately after successful password confirmation and submission from the app.

Backup data, where present, is removed during normal backup rotation within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, audit, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution reasons.

Password and Confirmation

For account safety, the app asks for your current password before deletion.

The confirmation checkbox is required because account deletion affects profile visibility, login access, contacts, membership access, notifications and app usage.
